Company Publications

Stories of innovation and long-term commitment are hallmarks of the company histories and related publications that Lary has written. For example, Hartford Hospital distributes his intensely personal handbook, titled Alone Together, taking a new breast cancer patient through diagnosis, treatment, recovery and the mental challenges that come with such regimen. The manufacturing company Ensign-Bickford turned to Lary to get the word out about 175 years of knowhow and survival in an increasingly competitive corporate world — a story that takes readers from beneath the ground (mine safety) to outer space (the way the company contributed to rocket science) and back again to the backyard kennel (innovations in dog food). A book on the 75th anniversary of Allan Myers, one of the nation’s oldest highway construction companies, brings readers on the inside of one of the most demanding and perilous of industries.
